What the waitlist form collects

Your name, email address and phone number, which are required, plus your team name if you have one, which division you want, and whether you already have a team.

That is everything. We do not ask for your address, your birthday, or anything to do with payment.

Where it goes

Three places, and nowhere else. It goes to Web3Forms, the service that turns the form into an email for us, and which also keeps a copy of your submission on its own servers. It goes into a private spreadsheet that only the league organizers can open. And it arrives as an email in the inboxes of the three people who run the league.

You also get a confirmation email back, so you have a record of exactly what you sent us.

What we do with it

We use it to run the league: to build teams, to sort out divisions, and to reach your captain when something changes.

Joining the waitlist also means we will email you when Season 2 opens. That is the point of the list. If you would rather come off it, say so and we will take you off. You can do that at any time, and you do not have to give a reason.

What we never do

We do not sell your information. We do not trade it, rent it, or hand it to advertisers. Nobody outside the league sees it except the services named above, which are there to deliver the email and hold the spreadsheet.

How we count visits

We use a privacy-friendly analytics tool to see how many people visit each page and how many click through to the waitlist. It records counts, not people: no cookies, no names, no profiles, and nothing that would let us pick you out or follow you to another site.

Cookies

This site does not set any cookies. There is no banner to dismiss because there is nothing to consent to.

The one exception is the scorekeepers' page, which is passcode protected and used only by the people keeping score at the gym. It sets a single cookie to remember that they signed in, and that cookie is never sent on any public page.

What is public on this site

The schedule and standings pages show team names, game times, courts and scores. No individual player's name appears anywhere on this site.

Player statistics are published by League of Hoop on their own site, which we link to from the stats page. What they publish and keep is covered by their own policy, not this one.

The technical part, stated plainly

When you submit the waitlist form, your browser talks to Web3Forms and to Google directly. Both of them see your IP address and which browser you are using, the way any website request works. We do not add anything to that, and we never see it ourselves.

This site is hosted by Netlify, which keeps ordinary server logs of requests, including IP addresses.

Age

The league is for adults 18 and over, and this site is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Getting your information, or getting it deleted

Ask us. Email or a DM both work, and there is no form to fill in. We will tell you what we have, and if you want it gone we will delete the spreadsheet row and take you off the email list.

Changes to this page

If how we handle any of this changes, we will update this page and change the date at the bottom.
